Abstract

This issue marks the beginning of the second year for the JOREL.

It takes a lot of time and effort to prepare and then publish a peerreviewed

journal. It also takes the combined energy of practitioners,

academicians, and others in our field volunteering as peer reviewers.

Peer review is a common practice in the humanities and social sciences.

As Editor I try to match the topic of each manuscript with a reviewer

who I feel is an expert on that topic. Usually two or more individuals

will review a manuscript, each identifying errors and providing constructive

comments and recommendations to the authors.
