Author Biography

Megan Heber, University of North Texas Rowan University Children's Chorus of Greater Dallas

For the past 15 years Megan Heber has used the arts to make the world around her a better place. With extensive experience in business, nonprofits, higher education, and the military, her diverse perspective brings creative solutions to creative people.Megan is currently Executive Director of Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas (CCGD), one of the nation’s most prestigious youth choral arts programs. She serves on the City of Dallas Cultural Plan Implementation Steering Committee, The Arts Community Alliance (TACA) Perforum Planning Committee, and University of North Texas (UNT) Nonprofit Leadership Studies Advisory Committee. Megan is also adjunct professor of music business and entrepreneurship at University of North Texas and adjunct professor of arts management at Rowan University.  Megan holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Arts Management from Southern Methodist University, Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Rowan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Thomas Edison State University.
