Fitness Center Service Quality Model Confirmation SQAS-19

Abstract


A fitness center service quality measure was tested with 151 respondents to confirm a 19-item, five-factor model. The results substantiated the SQAS-19 as an adequate measure of fitness center service quality in that it continued to demonstrate that service quality is a multidimensional construct. Alpha and construct reliability coefficients found within the current study were relatively consistent with prior findings that support the use of this more parsimonious and less invasive version of a fitness center service quality assessment.
