Abstract

This article examines wheelchair rugby participation, activities of daily living, and self-efficacy among individuals with physical disabilities. Participation in wheelchair rugby is beneficial for individuals with physical disabilities in relation to performing activities of daily living. Generally, activities of daily living are very problematic for a majority of individuals with physical disabilities. Individuals with physical disabilities who participate in wheelchair rugby have high self-efficacy beliefs in performing activities of daily living. Also, selfefficacy beliefs are associated with sport performance. Finally, provided are recommendations for additional participation in wheelchair rugby and future research.
