Abstract

In the high tech era of the eighties, personal computers, DOS, graphics, spreadsheets,word processing, and interactive video are all becoming familiar terms. Wordssuch as input, output, and interface are becoming regular parts of our vocabulary.We have even begun to speak of our human interactions using the language of thecomputer, e.g., "I need your input on this." Yet, what is the role of a computer forthose of us in the Hpeople to people" business? Have we explored their potential? "Dowe even have trouble accepting the use of machines?
