Abstract

The personal computer has been accepted as a necessity in the daily routine in mostbusinesses. Taking over routine tasks, the ·computer allows the user more time forthinking and creative work. The therapeutic recreation specialist can use the personalcomputer not only as an aid to program administration but also as a tool that willenhance an ongoing program. This article explores this new technology and presentsexamples of how computers can be used effectively in day-to-day therapeutic recreationprograms.
