Abstract

Effective problem solving skills are critical for successful client services. An area which receives little attention in the preparation of most recreation therapists is consultation among peers. It is the purpose of the article to acquaint the reader with the process of collaborative consultation. Relevant research is defmed and a consultation model which can be used to facilitate optimal problem solving is presented.
