Abstract

Many Nonprofit Leadership Alliance programs strive to teach core competencies through annual signature service-learning community service projects. Students develop skills and confidence that prepares for careers in nonprofit organizations. This paper describes service-learning projects that students plan and implement, thus developing and reinforcing core competencies.
