Nonprofit Essentials: The Development Plan is one in a series of 10 manuals marketed conceptually as “Nonprofit Essentials” and published by John Wiley & Sons in cooperation with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). As might be expected from the collaboration between the publisher and a professional association of fundraising professionals, the other titles in the series involve fundraising practices and include the topics of donor-centered planned gift marketing (2010), effective donor relations (2009), jump-starting a stalled fundraising campaign (2009) also written by Linda Lysakowski, the annual campaign (2009), major gifts (2006), managing technology (2006), endowment building (2005), recruiting and training fundraising volunteers (2005), and the capital campaign (2004).
