Abstract

The purpose of this discussion is to look intently at a particular intervention, Glass Analysis (Glass & Glass, 1976), to explore it as a case in point, as well as to provide sufficient details for teachers to use it in informed and artful ways. Pausing like this to ponder one method in depth prompts broader consideration of what is important in the teachingllearning of students with learning disabilities. So, the paper begins with some broad-stroke considerations, followed by a detailed description of Glass Analysis and then, a reconsideration of what is important.
