Abstract

TOOLKIT4PE™ (https://www.toolkit4pe.com) is an open source website for teachers and other professionals searching for strategies and resources to support and foster learning in the physical education class for students with unique needs. The site’s resources include visual aids, assessments, equipment/activity modifications, behavioral supports, and more. The tools are ready for download and immediate application providing accommodations for students. To facilitate searching, the website has six main categories of resources: planning, instruction, positive behavior, utilizing support staff, unit skill themes, assessment, and IEPs. This paper will explore the inspiration behind the TOOLKIT4PE™ website and the resources within the main categories.
